Trains leave Bransty Station four times daily (Sundays excepted) for Workington, Maryport, Wigton, Carlisle, and Cockermouth; three times daily for Edinburgh, London Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Newcastle, &c.

WHITEHAVEN AND FURNESS JUNCTION.

Trains leave Bransty Station three times daily (Sundays excepted) for Bootle, Ulverston, Broughton, Fleetwood, Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, &c. This is the nearest route to Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, London, &c., -

Trains leave Whitehaven three times daily (Sundays excepted) for Cleator Moor, Frizington, Woodend and Egremont, and twice daily for Eskett, Winder, and Rowrah.

STEAM COMMUNICATIONS.

LIVERPOOL. - The Whitehaven Steam Navigation Company’s powerful and commodius first class steamers sail regularly with goods and passengers.- Fares: Cabin 7s., Deck, 4s. Passengers are conveyed, in connection with the railway companies, between Newcastle, Dalston and Wigton, to Liverpool at a through fare. Passengers by railway arrive at Whitehaven by the last train before the Steamer’s sailintg, and those from Liverpool being forwarded by first train after the vessel’s arrival in Whitehaven: - Fares: Cabin and First class, 10s.; Deck and Third Class, 4s.

BELFAST. - The Whitehaven Steam Navigation Company’s steamers sail regularly with goods and passengers. - Fares: Cabin, 10s; Deck, 3s. Passengers are conveyed in connection with the Railway Companies, between Carlisle, Dalston and Wigton to Belfast, at a through fare. Those from Carlisle &c., arriving at Whitehaven by the last train before the Steamer’s sailing, and those from Belfast being forwarded by the first train after the vessel’s arrival in Whitehaven. Fares: Cabin and First Class, 12s.; Deck and Third Class, 5s.

DUBLIN - The Whitehaven Steam Navigation Company sail a vessel regularly with goods and passengers. Fares: Cabin, 15s.; Deck 6s. Passengers and goods are conveyed between Carlisle and Dalston, and Wigton to Dublin at a through fare, arriving in Whitehaven by the last train before the Steamer’s sailing, and those from Dublin being forwarded by first train after the Steamer’s arrival in Whitehaven. Fares: - Cabin 15s; Deck 4s.

RAMSEY. - The Isle of Man Company’s Royal Mail steamers sail regularly to Whitehaven, returning to Ramsey the following day.
