 Organised by the Workington Branch of the Salvation Army, a Christmas Shopping Centre was held in the Edkin Street Hall on Monday afternoon. It was the first held in Workington, and opened by Mrs. BYERS, realised a good sum of money to aid the local work. The stall holders were Mesdames: -
