GREYSOUTHEN EFFORT FOR SEWING CLASS. A whist drive and supper in aid of the funds of the Brigham Church Sewing Class took place in the Endowed Schoolroom, Greysouthen, on Friday evening. There were 19 tables, with Mr. E. D. SMITH as M. C. Mrs. C. F. WATSON, The Mansion, presented prizes to the following: Ladies: Mrs. f. WILSON, Chapel Brow, 177 Mrs. Hy. N. PAISLEY, Greysouthen, 171 Mrs. Wm. CROZIER, Eaglesfield, 169. Gentlemen: Mr. Geo. STEPHENSON, Great Broughton, 173. Mr. Ernest BECK, Greysouthen, 171. Mr. Wm. DOBSON, Broughton Cross, 170. Stewards and checkers were: B. P. WEATHERSTON J. W. THOMPSON F. BECK H. DEMPSTER E. BECK Supper was served by Mesdames: R. J. DICKSON, Brigham E. D. SMITH J. W. THOMPSON I. BOYES T. AITKINSON G. BOYES C. BACON J. BOYES P. PITTS R. WHILLAM E. BECK J. IRELAND A. BOWE J. COULTON The Rev. R. J. DICKSON, vicar, moved a vote of thanks to all who had assisted. Mr. E. D. SMITH seconding. Messrs.
