Royal Oak Inn (Keswick). To be let by private contract, for such term of years as may be agreed on, all that extensive and well accustomed inn, called the Royal Oak, consisting of a large and commodious dwelling house, with numerous suitable and convenient stables, coach houses, and other conveniences, situate at Keswick, in the county of Cumberland, at present in the occupation of Mr John I’ANSON, who intends to retire from business, and will quit the premises at Whitsuntide next, or sooner if the parties can agree. The above premises (being at Keswick, the well known resort of tourists) are in the most eligible situation for an inn, in the north of England; - and Mr I’ANSON will be ready to treat with the tenant for a part of the furniture of the house, and the stock of wines and spirits, post horses, and chaises. Coaches, from the Royal Oak, go every day to Whitehaven and Kendal, communication with direct conveyances to Liverpool, London, &c. and three times a week to Penrith. Security will be required for payment of the rent, and performance of the covenants in the lease; and further particulars may be known, by making application to John SCOTT, Esq. Piet Ness (?) near Keswick, or at the office of Mr HODGSON, Solicitor, Whitehaven: - and Mr I’ANSON will shew (sic) the premises to any person desirous of becoming the tenant thereof.
