To be SOLD by Public Auction, at the Globe Hotel, in Whitehaven, in the County of Cumberland (by order of the Assignees of Mr. John TOMLINSON, of Whitehaven, Corn Merchant), on WED- NESDAY, the 27th day of October, 1869, at Three o'clock in the Afternoon, in such lots and subject to such conditions as may be agreed upon at the time of sale, all that valuable WAREHOUSE, STEAM CORN MILL, BAKERY, DWELL- ING-HOUSE, and OUT-OFFICES thereto belonging, situate in Preston-street, Whitehaven, and lately in the occ- upation of Mr. JOHN TOMLINSON, the owner. The property is situated close to the Goods Station of the Furness Railway Company, at Whitehaven, is conven- iently planned, and is well adapted for carrying on the Corn, Flour, and Bakery Business, or any business requiring steam power and extensive premises. It is Free-hold, subject to a small Ground Rent payable to the Earl of Lonsdale, and is in good repair. The Maltkiln, which adjoins thereto, works 30 loads, has Two Working Floors, Five Store Rooms, Drying Kiln, and Malt Room. There is a good Cart Shed and a Gig House, and a convenient back entrance on a level with the second floor. The Premises are complete with modern im- provements, and in first-rate order, with every convenience for carrying on a large trade.
