SUNSTROKE IN A HAY FIELD AT GOSFORTH. _____ On Tuesday afternoon last, while Mr. John COOK, D. C., was assisting in haymaking, he was suddenly overcome and became seriously ill. A conveyance was procured and he was conveyed home. Dr. PARKER was at once called in, and pronounced it to have been sunstroke. At the time of writing on inquiry we learn that Mr. COOK has made a little improvement. |
