ST. GEORGE’S SUNDAY SCHOOL,  MILLOM. ______  The annual treat for the children connected with St. George’s Sunday School took place on Monday last, but like other events on the same day the proceedings were much hampered by  bad weather.    The children met at St. George’s Hall at two o’clock and marched up St. George’s Road, through the Market Square, and by Lapstone Road to the Hall, where tea was provided.    The Territorial Band and the Wesleyan Band were in attendance. Sports were arranged to take place in the Jubilee Field, but on account of the bad weather these had to be abandoned, and will be held on another day.    On Sunday a children’s service was held in the afternoon, when gifts of eggs, fruit flowers, and toys &c., were presented and afterwards distributed to the local hospitals.
