 The Moresby Parks Club took part in the first of the West Cumberland Federation races for young birds on Saturday last. The race was from Lancaster, about 50 miles from Moresby and a good number of birds first forwarded. The result was a close race, the first four birds being timed in within two minutes of each other. The birds were liberated at 1-5 p.m. and W. MOSSOP’s was the first to arrive home at 2-48 p.m. and proving to be the pool winner.
 
 WILSON Bros. Scilly Banks, were first in the race, MULLEN Bros. Securing the next two positions.
