PENNY FRIDGE.

The Queen Alexandra Lodge meeting was held on Saturday evening. Sister E. JENKINSON, N. G., presiding. Sis. M. A. JACKSON occupied the position of V. G.
 
 After the routine business Prov. G. M. W. WHITE gave a short account of the first year’s working of the National Insurance Act. This successful Society continues to increase in number, and with 100 members has only had one sick claim.
 
 The Furness Lodge meeting followed, and was well attended, P. P. G. M. James MOORE, Vickerstown being a visitor. Interesting reports of the District meeting were given by P. G. John M. JACKSON, P. G. John PROCTOR, and N. G. Robert H. BURNS, for which they received the thanks of the Lodge.
