The first annual athletic sports of this school took place on Tuesday afternoon, in Netherhall Park. The various events and their results are as follows: -
 
Flat race, 100 yards (seniors):

 The prizes were distributed by Mrs. VERITY, of Bowness- on - Solway. As the school has only just been established, the programme was naturally a short one, but the events were contested with an amount and spirit and energy that augurs well for the future.
