DEATH OF CLEATOR MOOR MAN
IN SOUTH AFRICA.

 News was received on Monday per cablegram pf the death in Pretoria Hospital of Mr. Wilson SHEPHERD, second son of Mr. And Mrs. Myles SHEPHERD, of Bigrigg, and formerly of Crossfield Road, Cleator Moor.
 
 SHEPHERD was 39 years old, and had been ailing for some time, and his death was not altogether unexpected. It was over 19 years since he left England. He leaves a widow and two children to mourn his loss, and for these and for his parents and relatives the greatest sympathy is extended.
