WHITEHAVEN HOUSE SOLD. There was an exceptionally good attendance at "The Mart", Duke Street, Whitehaven, on Tuesday evening, when MESSRS. JACKSON and MURRAY offered for sale by public auction, the dwelling-house, No. 20 Hugh Street, Bransty, Whitehaven. The property started at £200, and at £299, went to MR. L. MOORHOUSE, Whitehaven. The auctioneer then offered in one lot the property, No. 58, George Street, and No. 20, Michael Street, Whitehaven, occupied by MR. MCALLISTER and MRS. PEARSON. There was no bidding for these houses, which were put in the market at £250, and withdrawn. MESSRS. J. R. and H. F. THOMPSON were the solicitors concerned.
