THE WHITEHAVEN NEWS. Published Every Thursday Morning.   SCALE FOR PREPAID ADVERTISEMENTS.   Under this Scale are Charged small Advertisements of the following Classes,   If PAID FOR PREVIOUS TO INSERTION TO SAVE EXPENSE OF BOOKING.  WHEN NOT PREPAID THE CREDIT RATE WILL BE CHARGED: --   Situations    Vacant or Wanted Apartments   to Let or Wanted Houses, Offices, and Shops    to be Let or Wanted Articles for Sale by Private Treaty Eggs for Setting. Articles Lost or Found   Money to Lend or Wanted Turnips to be Eaten Off Cattle Wanted for Grazing Short Stud Notices Notices of Change of Business And similar short Public Notices.   N.B. - This Scale does not apply to Advertisements order "until countermanded." =================================================   BIRTH NOTICES. - 1s 6d each MARRIAGES - Up to 30 words, 1s 6d;  and 6d for every 10 words or part of 10 words afterwards. DEATH & IN MEMORIAM NOTICES - Up to 30 words, 1s 40,  1s 6d;   50, 2s;  and so on at the rate of 10 words for Sixpence. These Charges are for Prepayment only.  When not Prepaid the Credit Rate will be charged.   All advertisements should be accompanied by the Name and Address of the sender, otherwise their insertion may be delayed.
