DECLARATION OF DIVIDEND;
INCREASE ON ORDINARIES.

 On Tuesday at a meeting of the directors of the Workington Iron & steel Co., Ltd., held at the Moss Bay Offices, dividends were recommended as follows: -
 
 “The usual dividend at the rate of six per cent. Per annum, less tax, for half year ended June 30th, on the preference shares, payable October first, to shareholders registered on August 12th, and final dividend of three and one half per cent., less tax, making six per cent for the year ended June 30th, recommended on ordinary shares, subject to confirmation by shareholders, payable on October first, to shareholders registered August 29th.
