 Mr. William COOPER of Hensingham was the speaker on Sunday afternoon. Basing his remarks on the words of Philipians 1, 21, “For me to live in Christ,” he said that this referred to the ideal life, for which we should strive.
 
 The Christ life was an unselfish life. He that would taste of true life now must live unselfishly. He that loseth his life shall save it, might seem a contradictory statement, but it was true that a life devoted to unselfish interests brought joy and peace such as no other could give.
 
 This was the joy of Christian living, a joy so little understood by the worldling.
