NEWS ITEMS. _____ The Motor Company propose running their two char-a-bancs to Ennerdale tomorrow, Friday, leaving at two o’clock. This charming lake is just a nice distance from town to enable half day holiday makers to reach the lake, have tea, and otherwise enjoy themselves, and get home in Good time. With a fine day, this ought to be a most enjoyable trip, and intending passengers should see the advt. As to times &c. ***** The Earl and Countess of LONSDALE will entertain a succession of parties at Lowther Castle for the shooting season.
