HOMING CLUB.

 The Moresby Parks Homing Club took part in the fourth young birds race under the auspices of the West Cumberland Federation from Crewe, a distance of about 110 miles, on Saturday last. A large number of birds were sent, the first bird belonging to Mr. W. MONAN arriving home 23 minutes ahead of any of the others.
 
 Mr. W. MOSSOP’s bird, however, was the first in the race and won the 6d and the 3d pool, being timed at 4-24, Joe QUINN was second 2 minutes later, being closely followed by MULLEN Bros. Bird who was third.
