CUMBRIAN MARRIED AT DALTON.
___________

At the Dalton-in-Furness Parish Church on Tuesday afternoon the marriage took place of Herbert, the eldest son of the late J. S. ROBINSON, of Waberthwaite Schools, Cumberland, and Mrs. ROBINSON of Dalton, to Ada Mary, daughter of Mr. Thomas RODDA, of Boulder City, Western Australia, and Mrs. RODDA, Dalton.

There was a large company of well wishers present to witness the nuptials, which were performed by the Rev. A. P. HAYES, of Calgary, Canada, which will be the future home of the bride and bridegroom.

Before going to Calgary on the C. P. R., Mr. ROBINSON was a Relief Station Master on the Furness line, and also acted a couple of seasons as purser on the Barrow and Fleetwood steamers.

The bridesmaids were Miss. Ethel ROBINSON, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss. Teenie SHAW, of Manchester, cousin of the bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. W. W. SPENCER, of Alderley Edge. Mr. T. HUDDLESTON, of Grange, cousin of the bride, acted as best man.

After the ceremony a reception was held in the Drill Hall, and later Mr. And Mrs. ROBINSON left for Southport, fog signals announcing their departure on the honeymoon. There were handsome presents.
