CAMPING OUT.
_________

(Before R. JEFFERSON (in the Chair), and R. HELLON, Esqs.)

John MILLER, (29), no fixed abode, was charged with having been sleeping out in the open air on the Brows, Whitehaven, at 4-30 a.m. on the 8th August.

 P. C. WHITE said the prisoner was sleeping behind the Newhouses, with his coat wrapped round his neck. When witness spoke to him he replied, “I have no where to go. I got a sup of beer the night before.” He had a usual tramps outfit in his possession.

The Chairman: It appears you have been in the lock-up since Friday. We will let you go.
