A CUMBERLAND LADY'S CURIOUS WILL. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ By the will of the late MISS LITT, of Richmond Hill, Workington, who died a fortnight ago, £5,000 is left to a servant JAMES SANDS, who had lived with her for the last 18 months. SANDS was previously a labourer, and is a brother to LUCY SANDS, who was murdered 15 years ago. Another servant receives a small sum. MISS LITT's fortune amounts to about £10,000, half of which, it is stated, goes to her relatives, who, it is said, intend contesting the will....................."Yorkshire Post". _________________________________________________________________ |
