A QUESTION AND ANSWER.

Once upon a time a teacher in Millom asked
the scholars "How many bones have you in your
body?"  There was silence for a moment, but at
last a girl shouted out: "Two hundred and thirty-
five."  "You are not quite correct," said the
teacher, "you hav only two hundred and thirty-
four."  But the girl spoke out bravely and said
"Please teacher, we had some fish for breadkfast,
and I swallowed one of the bones."
