To Be Let The following desirable farms and possessions, upon the NETHERBY ESTATE, in the county of Cumberland, are to be let for terms to be agreed upon. Entries at Candlemas next, 1845. 1. PARCELSTOWN FARM: containing about 316 acres of valuable arable and pasture land, upon the Edinburgh Road - six miles to the northward of the City of Carlisle. This farm is in the Proprietor's own occupation, and the entry will be found advantageous and convenient. 2. The GRAHAM ARMS INN, and Posting House of Longtown, in the occupation of Mr. BRAITHWAITE, with a suitable and valuable farm in the immediate neighbourhood. 3. CARWINLEY CORN, FLOUR, and BARLEY MILL, with a farm of good land adjoining. 4. Sundry cottage possessions and crofts of land. These possessions are all in the near vicinity of Longtown, and enjoy every advantage of excellent markets and roads. Also, to be let, The GRAZING FARM of BAILEYHOPE, in BEWCASTLE, containing 832 acres, within a ring fence,-all as long possessed by Messrs. PALMER and DALTON, who will give every necessary information to intending offerers for this farm. MATTHEW BROWN, of CROFTHEAD FARM, will shew the conditions of letting; and proposals addressed to JOHN YULE, of Fergushill, by Longtown, will meet with due attention. August 18th 1844 |
