DEARHAM PRIMITIVE METHODIST ANNIVERSARY. The Dearham Primitive Methodists held their anniversary on Sunday afternoon and evening. There were large congregations at each service, who thoroughly enjoyed the singing. The children, as usual, took their parts exceedingly well, their efforts including recitations, dialogues, special hymns, and anthems. The services on Sunday were conducted by Mr. Thomas HOLLIDAY, Aspatria. The programme was taken part in by: Francis NEESHAM Annie PERRY James THOMAS Bessie PATTINSON Tom STEVENSON Jean BUGLASS Mary THOMAS Joseph ROBINSON Leonard PATTINSON Rebecca MARTIN Thisel LAO M. M. MARTIN Harold LAW Ada WINTER Doreen MORTON Greta BLACKBURN Robert LAW Gladys MOSSOP Alice CARRUTHERS Annie RITSON Jennie TODD Freda WATTERS Ruth THOMAS Irene TURNSTALL John THOMAS Vera STEPHENSON Mary PATTINSON Jennie PATTINSON The programme on Monday evening was given by the following: Mary ACKERLAY Jackie MULLHOLLAND Annie RITSON Henry WRIGHT Jean BUGLASS Annie RITSON the chair being taken by Mr. McKEATING, Aspatria. On Monday afternoon the children perambulated the village, under the supervision of the Sunday School teachers, hymns being sung at various places. The children were afterwards entertained to tea served by the Mesdames: BAILEY NORMAN HENNEY CLARK BUGLASS REYNOLDS THOMAS MARTIN LAW MORTON NICHOLSON SANDHAM RITSON HADDEN W. TODD Mrs. PATTINSON brewed the tea. The singing was conducted by Mr. J. W. JOHNSTON, and Miss. D. KIRKBRIDE was organist. A vote of thanks was moved by Mr. R. THOMAS. ********************
