      At the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. W. G. BIRD, 93, John Street, Workington, 24th Oct. 1884, Mary Ann, relict of the late Captain John SLOAN, aged 64 years. - Interment at St. John's Church, on Monday the 27th inst., at 3.30 p.m.

 -Much respected by all who knew her and deeply regretted.
