After the ball practice, the troop marched into the town, headed by the Wigton band, and afterwards dined at the King's Arms inn, where a sumptuous dinner was provided by MR. and MRS. TORDIFF, and a very pleasant evening was spent under the able presidency of CAPTAIN FRANKLIN.

The troop mustered well and in good order, and the ball practice was excellent, many of the balls hitting near the bull's eye.
