SCHOONER "C O C K E R" AND WAREHOUSES, IN WORKINGTON, FOR SALE.
 
TO be SOLD, by AUCTION, on WEDNESDAY, the 24th day of OCTOBER instant, at the SAVINGS' BANK, in WORKINGTON, precisely at Three o'Clock in the Afternoon, all that good SCHOONER or VESSEL, called the "C  O  C  K  E  R", of Workington, whereof NATHANIEL COUPLAND is Master, of the burthen per register of 57 tons, built at Workington, in 1843, by MESSRS. PEILE, SCOTT, and Company, and now in an efficient state of repair.
 
Also, either together or in such Lots as may be agreed on at the Sale, all those Three newly-erected Freehold WAREHOUSES, each consisting of Three Stories, suitable for Sailrooms or any other Business connected with the locality, situate on the QUAY, at WORKINGTON, and near to the Railway Station.
 
This Property has a footage of 82 feet 8 inches, and extends backwards on the Western extremity 32 feet 10 inches, on the Eastern extremity 38 feet and 1 inch.
 
Two of these Warehouses have been approved of by the authorities, and are now used for the Storage of Bonded Goods, each being provided with a crane and one with a large Vat, capable of containing about 700 gallons, which must be taken by the Purchaser at a valuation.
 
The Third Warehouse, more recently erected, contains a convenient Office above the Ground Storey, which Ground Storey is arched with brick, and every way suitable for the reception of Bonded Stores.
 
Conditions will be produced at the Sale, and further particulars may in the meantime be known on application to MR. ARMSTRONG, Solicitor, Workington;  or to  MR. BURTON, the Agent for the Workington Bonded Warehouse and Carrying Company, who will show the Premises, and from whom Inventories of the Vessel may be obtained.
