National School Cockermouth Print E-mail

In mentioning the examination of the Boy's National School, in our last number, we omitted to notice that of the Infant School, which was also examined by her Majesty's inspector, the REV. G. R. MONCRIEF, who, at the close of the examination, expressed himself highly gratified at the very praiseworthy manner in which each class had answered the questions put to them.

He also complimented the mistress of the school, MISS SULLIVAN, upon her efficiency as a teacher, and upon the neat and orderly state of the school in general.
