SUDDEN DEATH OF THE VICAR OF MASHAM.

A melancholy gloom was shed over the neighbourhood of Masham on Monday morning last, when the news arrived of the sudden decease of the REV. THOMAS RIDDELL, the much esteemed vicar of Masham and Kirkby Malzeard, which occurred at Keswick on the Sunday morning previous, from a fit of apoplexy.

The rev. gentleman had gone, on the Monday previous, to spend a few days in the lake district, for the benefit of his health, which he feared had suffered from over exertion and anxiety in the performance of his many and arduous duties.
