PRESENTATION AT DALSTON.

On Tuesday last, the workpeople in the employment of MESSRS. G. COWEN and SONS, manufacturers, Dalston, presented their late manager, MR. CHARLES DALL, with a set of valuable German-silver mathematical instruments enclosed in a neat mahogany case, bearing the following inscription: -

'TO CHARLES DALL, FROM MESSRS. COWEN'S WORK-SITUATION OF MANAGER FOR UPWARDS OF FIVE YEARS, AND DURING THAT PERIOD, BY HIS URBANITY AND KINDLY DISPOSITION, AND THE UPRIGHT CONDUCT WHICH HAS ALWAYS BEEN HIS MARKED CHARACTERISTIC IN THE DISCHARGE OF THE DUTIES OF HIS OFFICE, HAS WON FOR HIM THE GOOD OPINION OF BOTH EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYED.
