A Return Match was played at Appleby, in the Vicarage Croft, on Thursday last, between the Penrith and Appleby clubs, which resulted in the defeat of the latter.
 
The weather, up till five o'clock, was delightful, and a great number of spectators, including many ladies, were present, and the greatest harmony prevailed throughout the day.
