APPRENTICE WANTED.

A VACANCY occurs in the Establishment of an OPERATIVE and PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMIST in LIVERPOOL, for a well-educated Youth, as an APPRENTICE.
    Unusual facilities for acquiring a scientific as well as a thoroughly practical knowledge of the business in all its branches, are afforded - A liberal Premium is required, covering attendance on Chemical Lectures and Laboratory Practice. - Apply to E., Post-office, Berry-street, Liverpool.

£100 PER ANNUM -  A GENTLEMAN is WANTED  to take the MANAGEMENT of this COUNTY for a LIFE ASSURANCE COMPANY.

He will also receive 15 per Cent. Commission upon all new Premiums received in the County, which, upon a moderate calculation would realize him £500 per annum.  He must be respectable, a man of energy and perseverance, able to invest £200 in shares, upon which he would receive £5 per Cent. Dividend.

NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE & CARLISLE RAILWAY.

WAGGONS WANTED.

THE DIRECTORS will receive TENDERS for from One Hundred to One Hundred and Fifty CHALDRON WAGGONS, to be made according to the Specifications, and a Pattern Waggon, which may be seen at the Company's Workshops, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
    Separate Tenders will also be received for the Bodies of the above Waggons, and also for the Axles and Wheels.  The Specifications and Pattern Waggon may be seen on application to MR. HALL, the Superintendant of the Locomotive Department.
    Sealed Tenders, addressed to the Directors, to be sent to the Secretary's Office, Cental Station, on or before SATURDAY, the 8th of DECEMBER.
    Payment to be made by Bill at Six Months after delivery, or by Cash, deducting the Discount, at the option of the Directors.
