HOLMES - IVISON
 
 
Mr. W. HOLMES, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas HOLMES, 28 Hartington Street, Workington, and Miss. Florence IVISON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. IVISON, of Siddick, were married at Holy Trinity Church, West Seaton, on Saturday.
 
 
The bride was attired in blue satin and hat and shoes to tone. Her bouquet was of white chrysanthemums, with asparagus fern. She was attended by  two bridesmaids the Misses Betty HOLMES (sister of the bridegroom) and Miss. Jennie NICHOLSON (cousin of the bride). Both wore dresses of rose satin and lemon silk and their hats and shoes were to tone. They carried bouquets of bronze chrysanthemums and asparagus fern.
 
 
Mr. Gordon HOLMES, brother of the bridegroom was best man.
 
 
A reception was held afterwards at the home of the bride. The couple, who are well known in the district, received numerous gifts.
