St. John’s Church will not be complete, but it will be sufficiently in order for the Mayoral service to be held there shortly. Peculiar interest will be given to the occasion by the fact that the great entrance doors of the Church have been presented by the Mayor and his brother.
Mr. Ernest A. IREDALE, as a memorial to their father and mother both of whom were long and honorable associated with St. John’s. With what proud pleasure these well known worthies would have beheld their sons the elder passing through as chief citizen of the borough open the doors of the restored St. John’s Church.
