the 1st Nov. to Sunday the 7th Nov. - Number of passengers 58,330;  receipts
for passengers, parcels, mails, horses, carriages and dogs £4,086  14s  2d;
do. goods minerals, and cattle £8,941  0s  6d;  total £13,027  14s  8d;
corresponding week last year £13,841  9s 2-1/2d.

LANCASTER AND CARLISLE (including Kendal and Windermere) - Traffic for the
week ending Nov. 7. - Passengers (No. 29,640), Parcels and Mails, £3253  10s
1d;  Merchandise, £2727  13s 3d;  Coal, £223  4s 5d;  Live Stock, £307  15s
1d;  total, £6512  2s  10d.  corresponding week last year, £6576  18s  9d.

NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE AND CARLISLE. - Traffic during the week ending Nov. 6:
Passengers, £881  1s  10d;  Merchandise £1s 1d;  total, £2010  2s  11d;
Corresponding week in last year, £3345  4s  5d;  Decrease, £426  1s  6d;
N.B. - Length of the line 784 miles.

COCKERMOUTH AND WORKINGTON. - Traffic for the week ending Nov. 7. -
