week ending Nov. 7. - Passengers (No. 29,640), Parcels and Mails, £3253 10s
1d; Merchandise, £2727 13s 3d; Coal, £223 4s 5d; Live Stock, £307 15s
1d; total, £6512 2s 10d. corresponding week last year, £6576 18s 9d.

NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE AND CARLISLE. - Traffic during the week ending Nov. 6:
Passengers, £881 1s 10d; Merchandise £1s 1d; total, £2010 2s 11d;
Corresponding week in last year, £3345 4s 5d; Decrease, £426 1s 6d;

COCKERMOUTH AND WORKINGTON. - Traffic for the week ending Nov. 7. -
Passengers £42 19s 3d; Merchandise, £31 2s 6d; Coals £182 9s 9d;

WHITEHAVEN, CLEATOR, AND EGREMONT. - Traffic return for the week ending Nov.
