LIVERPOOL November 11. SCOTCH. There continues to be a good demand for laid Highland, at full rates. White Highland is inquired for, but there is little to offer. The supply of good crossed is light, and is taken as soon as landed at fair rates; heavy and bad conditioned are still neglected. Good Cheviots are likewise in fair request, but heavy and unwashed in this class is also neglected. FOREIGN. There continues a good demand from the trade for all kinds of foreign at late rates. The public sales in London being concluded, and having gone off well, we look forward to a steady trade for some time to come. There has been more doing in Alpacas for the home trade at our late advance this week. ===================================== |
