SELF ACCUSED MURDERER ____ DATE OF THE EXECUTION. ____ The High Sheriff of Durham has fixed Tuesday, May 16th, for the execution of Thomas FURY, in Durham Gaol, for the murder of Marie FITZSIMMONS, at Sunderland, thirteen years ago. The convict is preparing another statement which will take the form of a supplement to the extraordinary document given to the press when sentence of death was passed. The High Sheriff has decided to admit a limited number of reporters. MARWOOD who has an engagement on the previous day at Manchester will be the executioner. |
