CRICKET MATCH AT WORKINGTON. ________      The Workington cricket season was opened on Saturday afternoon last, by a scratch match with sides chosen by the captain, Mr. R. H. HODGSON and the vice captain, Mr. J. SCOTT.    Little interest was exhibited in the match, and had it not been for the presence of the bystanders, it might have been taken for a friendly practice.    The score of the match, when concluded, stood as follows: Captain’s tean, 38, Vice captains team, 54.
