WHITEHAVEN RECREATION BOWLING CLUB. - On Saturday a meeting was held in the Recreation pavilion for the purpose of forming a club and to elect officers for the season.  It was decided to open the green on Saturday first, when a single-handed sweepstake will take place for which a ham will be given by MR. J. GARRAWAY.

    The following officers were elected:

    Treasurer, MR. T. BLENCO

    Committee, MESSRS. J. KELLY,   J. BRADLEY,   J. LYNCH,   T. M'ALLISTER,       and   E. M'ALLISTER.
