The anniversary services in connection with the above church were successfully held on Sunday and Monday, when there were large congregations.

    On Sunday, the preacher, morning and night, was the REV. E. T. HARRIS, of Whitehaven.

    There was a public gathering in the church on Monday night, when a special programme of music was rendered by the choir and children, under the conductorship of MR. RUMFORD.  MISS I. BACON officiated at the piano.

    The collections were in aid of the Sunday School funds.
