SERVICE OF SONG AT PARTON. - On Friday night the Hensingham Wesleyan Choir, assisted by the P.S.A. String Band, rendered the service of song, entitled "Blind Betty's text", in the Congregational Church, Parton.

    In the absence of MR. STEWART, the choir leader, MR. T. GIBB, had to do double duty as leader of the choir and band conductor.

    The REV. J. W. DICKSON gave the connective readings, and MR. KYLE ably filled the office of organist.
