PARTON FOOTBALL CLUB. The annual meeting for the members of this club was held in the Wilson Memorial School on Monday night, MR. THOMAS GREENER presiding. The Secretary said they had played 23 matches, of which they had won 9, lost 11, and 3 were drawn. They had scored 77 points, whilst 85 points were scored against them. A satisfactory balance remained in the hands of the treasurer. MESSRS. W. T. BENNETT and J. FISHER reported that they had audited the accounts, and found them correct. On the motion of MR. JOHN FISHER, seconded by MR. WM. BROWN, the reports were adopted. MR. BENNETT was elected secretary, MR. J. J. HODGSON declining to offer himself for re-election. MR. GREENER was re-elected treasurer. The following nine gentlemen were appointed as a committee with power to fill the two vacancies: MESSRS. JAMES FISHER JOHN FISHER J. MARTIN T. COATES WM. BROWN GEORGE SCURR GEO. MURRAY, sen. DIXON FISHER W. STABLES. It was agreed to leave over the selection of captain, vice-captain, and players till some future time. It was understood that MR. J. DALZELL would still stand as president of the club. ************************************************************************
