ACCIDENT AT CLIFTON PIT. On Monday morning an engineman named JOHN MULHOLLAND, residing at Lowther-street, in Great Clifton, employed at William Pit washing engine, was in the act of putting a belt on the driving wheel, when he was clicked off his feet and was speedily taken four or five times around the wheel. The shouts of the young man soon brought the assistance of MR. WALTER FEENEY. He at once screwed the steam off the engine, and released him. This is the second time MR. MULHOLLAND has met with an accident within a month. He was found to be much shaken and bruised.
