TINNISWOOD. - In Abbey Street, the 31st May, 1843, Mrs. Joseph TINNISWOOD, aged 69 years.   ______     BECK - In Cavendish Place on the 28th May, 1843, Sarah, relict of the late John BECK, Esq., aged 70 years.   ______     BELL - June 1843, Mr. John BELL, of the String of Horses Inn, English Street, and formerly of Wetheral, aged 42, much respected.   ______     THURNAM - The 1st June 1843, at 5 English Street, Mary Elizabeth, youngest daughter of Mr. Charles THURNAM, of this city, aged 3 years.   ______     GRAPES - June 1843, at the house of Mr. John FISH, Grey Horse, Mr. Charles Wellington GRAPES, brush maker, a native of the Isle of Wight, aged 32 years.   ______     HOWE - Joseph HOWE, 31 May, 1843, of Rickergate, aged 67 years.   ______     BLAIN - At Stanwix, on the 30th May, 1843, very suddenly, Mrs. Ann BLAIN, relict of the late Mr. Josdeph BLAIN, sculptor, in the 35th year of her age.   ______     NIXON - At Brampton on the 29th May 1843, Mr. John NIXON, boot & shoe maker, aged 73 years.   ______     HILL - At Wigton on the 29th May, 1843, aged 50 years.   ______     JORDON - At Wigton, Elizabeth, wife of Richard JORDON, 28 May, 1843.   ______     NIXON - At Wigton on the 29th May, 1843, Nancy, daughter of John NIXON, aged 20 years.   ______     RAY - At Wigton, on the 30th May, 1843, Thomas RAY, aged 48 years.   ______     ALLAN - At Wigton on the 30th May, 1843, Jane, widow of George ALLAN, aged 66 years.   ______     FINLINSON - On the 1st May, 1843, Jane, daughter of Peter FINLINSON, aged 6 years.   ______   BACKHOUSE - At St. Heliers, Jersey, on the 29th May, 1843, Louisa Lauretta, daughter of the late Thomas BACKHOUSE, Esq., of Cladbeck, in this county.   ______     ROBERTSON - In George Street, Whitehaven, June 1843, , Hannah, wife of Mr. Jonathan ROBERTSON, mariner, aged 39 years.   ______     WREN - On the 23 May, 1843, At Harrington on the 23 May, 1843, Mrs. Isabella WREN, widow, aged 67 years, much respected.   ______     BROUGH - Abraham, on the 23 May, 1843, Harrington, aged 70 years, clerk at Harrington Church.   ______     HASTINGS - On the 27th May, 1843, Joseph, the son of Captain James HASTINGS, aged 18 months.   ______     TREMBLE - At Calderbridge, on the 23rd May, 1843, Mary, the wife of Mr. Joseph TREMBLE, aged 22 years.   ______     WILKINSON - At Cockermouth, June 1843, Jonah WILKINSON, weaver, aged 26 years.   ______     BRAITHWAITE - June 1843, at the Union Workhouse, John BRAITHWAITE, shoemaker, aged 79 years.   ______     SMITH - At the house of her son-in-law, Mrs. Isaac PORTER, of Seascale in the parish of Gosforth, Mrs. Sarah SMITH, relict of the late Mr. Joseph SMITH, formerly of Whiteainhouse, in the parish of Irton, at the great age of 84 years.   ______     BECK - At Orton, on the 21st May, 1843, Mary, widow of the late Mr. George BECK, aged 85 years.   ______     ROBINSON - At Orrest, in Applethwaite, June 1843, Agnes, the wife of Mr. Benjamin ROBINSON, aged 60 and the mother of 22 children.   ______ STEPHENSON - At Colwell, near Hexham, on the 29th May, 1843, Mr. Robert STEPHENSON, farmer, aged 75 years.   ______     PEARSON - At the Parsonage House, Broughton-in-Furness, on the 23rd May, 1843, after a few hours illness, the Rev. William PEARSON, for upwards of 50 years minister in the above place, aged 80 years.   ______     AINSWORTH - At Wicham, June 1843, Catherine, wife of Mr. Robert AINSWORTH, aged 30 years.   ______   RAFFLES - At Stamford-villa, New Brighton, near Liverpool, June 1843, Mary Catherine the beloved wife of the Rev. Dr. RAFFLES, in the 47th year of her age.   ______     BAILLIE - At No. 5, Inverleith Terrace, Edinburgh, on the 22 May 1843, Mary Eleanor, daughter of William BAILLIE, Esq., late Sheriff-Substitute of Dumfries-shire.   ______     INNES - At Queensferry, on the 4th May, 1843, Mr. Alexander INNES, at a very advanced age of 104. He was born in the parish of Duffus, Morayshire.   ______     FARRELL - At Flatbush, New York, America, on the 20th April 1843, Mrs. Margaret FARRELL, wife of Mr. James FARRELL, late of Liverpool, and grand-daughter of Mr. John SANDERSON, formerly landlord of the Globe Inn, Egremont, aged 28 years.   ______     TOBIN - At Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the 11th April 1843, the Hon. Michael TOBIN, member of her Majesty’s Council, aged 67 years.
