May 29. John COULTHARD was fined twenty shillings and costs, for an assault upon Wilson MACKINSON. James LISTER, a pauper, was committed to prison for one month, for returning to the township of Cockermouth, after having been legally removed by Magistrates order. Henry MARTIN was fined one shilling and costs, and was held to bail for twelve months, for assaulting his wife Jane MARTIN. Lancelot FLETCHER was also held to bail for assaulting his wife Mary. |
