    WIGTON PETTY SESSIONS. -- Tuesday, Dec. 27. -- Magistrates present; J. GILBANKS and the Rev. J. HEYSHAM: -- William HOLLIDAY and Miles OSBURN, were convicted in penalties of 40s. each and costs, for setting nets to take rabbits on Blitterees rabbit warren. -- William DUNN,  Alexander RUTHERFORD,  William COCKBAIN,  Catherine WELSH, and Mary COCKBAIN, were committed to the house of correction at Carlisle for fourteen days each as vagrants for begging in Wigton. -- Robert SANDERSON, of Caldbeck, was committed to take his trial at the ensuing sessions, charged with stealing wood, the property of Messrs Tomas and William HELME, bobbin makers at Caldbeck; he was afterwards admitted to bail on finding proper security.
