PENRITH PETTY SESSIONS, 28th Dec. -- Mr. Martindale SCOTT, the high constable, having made several charges against the ordinary constables, the magistrates assembled for the purpose of investigating the complaints, and after a long and patient hearing determined that all the charges were utterly groundless. |
