To be Sold, by Public Auction, on Tuesday, the 23rd of January, 1844, at Dormansteads, in the Parish of Stapleton, in the County of Cumberland.
 
THE  whole STOCK and CROP, belonging to Mr. William REED, who is quitting that Farm: viz: -- Forty-four Head of Cattle of the pure Short-horned Breed, 20 of which are Spring Calvers, 8 Feeding Cattle, 11 Bullocks and Heifers, rising 2 years old, 5 Bullock and Heifer Stirks.
 
EIGHT HORSES,
 
Three of which are powerful Draught Mares, aged 3, 5, and 7 years, by Clyde, suitable for Heavy Carriages, 1 Brown Harness Mare, 5 years old, by Cleveland Hero, quiet in Harness, and safe to Ride, 1 Brown Filly, 3 years old, 1 Brown Colt, 2 years old, by Restitution, 1 Grey Filly, 1 year old, by Ben Ledi, and 1 Brown Colt Foal, by Grey Painter, the produce of a superior Hunting Mare, by Agricola.
 
SWINE.
 
Twenty Prime Fat Swine.
 
CROP,
 
Viz. 5 Stacks of Wheat, 45 Stacks of Potato and Hopetoun Oats, suitable for Seed.  7 Stacks of Lea, and 7 Stacks of Meadow Hay, besides a quantity in the Lofts, and about 50 Tons of prime Highland Early Potatoes well adapted for Seed, raised from newly-improved Moss-land -- Taint unknown among them.
 
As the whole will be disposed of in One Day, the Sale will commence precisely at Ten o'clock in the Forenoon, and Six Months' Credit will be allowed on approved Bills of Security, before leaving the Sale.
