LOCAL NOTES CLEATOR MOOR. Mr. Alf. BOWNESS, after a visit to this country of four month's duration, returned to South Africa on Friday. His brother, Mr. James BOWNESS, accompanied him. ****** Saturday's markets of late, are reported to have been the slackest for a lengthened period. ****** The heating arrangements at St. John's Church, which have been out of order recently, are now in an efficient condition.
