FRIEND OR FOE ? New Year, com'st thou as friend or foe ? "Nay, I know not; but this I know, Thou must wrestle a fall with me, And I or thou must conqueror be !" ..............' Good Cheer ' ~~~~~~~~~~~~ WRECKERS. [ From "Storm Warriors" by the REV. JOHN GILMORE, M.A. ] "O father ! I see a gleaming light ! O say what may it be ?" But the father answered never a word...... Longfellow ' ~~~~~~~~~~~ "Perhaps some human kindness still May make amends for human ill." .... ' Barry Cornwall ' ~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
