FOUND on New Year's Day, 1874, at BROWNHOW, near Blencow Station, a BOX
containing VALUABLES.

The Owner can have it by describing the articles, on applying to GEO.

to the name of "Rol."

Any person giving information at Eden Lacy, or to JAMES HOGG, of Great
Salkeld, will be rewarded.

RESTORATION OF KIRKBY STEPHEN CHURCH.

IT is proposed (D.V.) solemnly to rededicate this Church after restoration,
to the service of Almighty God through Jesus Christ our Lord, on TUESDAY,
JANUARY 6th, 1874, "The Feast of the Epiphany."

SERVICES: -
Holy Communion at 8.30 P.M.

Morning Prayer with SERMON, by the LORD BISHOP OF CARLISE, at 11.45 A.M.
Evening Prayer with SERMON by the LORD BISHOP OF CARLISLE, at 8 p.m.

Clergymen are requested to bring Surplices, and meet at the Vicarage at
11.30 a.m.

Collections towards defraying the cost of Restoration will be made after
each Sermon.

A PUBLIC LUNCHEON will be provided at the King's Arms Hotel, at 1.30 P.M.
Tickets 2s 6d. each

LIGHT ROAN, the property of MR. JAMES DOVER, Woodfoot, Crosbyravensworth,
WILL SERVE a limited number of COWS at 10s each.

Any Cow having cast her calf or been served with another bull, will be
charged Five Pounds.

LYVENNET was got by Gondolier, the property of MR. RELPH, Maulds Meaburn,
bred by Rev. T. Stainforth (28733), grand sire, Old Border (15676), dam
Border Queen, g. dam Red Rose 6th, by Gainsford (10255), g. g. dam Red Rose
